MEMBERSHIP GRADES AND DUES
Voting Members: Classifications
- Full Membership: Anyone directly
involved in the onsite industry including Installers, Soil Testers,
Soil Scientists, Designers, Manufacturers &/or Suppliers
Optional: Government Personnel
- Additional Membership: Available
only to those who are employees of firm with Full Member (no restrictions
on number of additional members).
Non-voting Members:
- Associate Membership: Government
personnel whose function is education, inspection or regulatory,
anyone with an indirect interest in onsite disposal wishing to
support the Association.
All memberships are individual. WOWRA does not have
corporate memberships. Dues are payable in advance. Annual dues
notices are mailed in August and are payable no later than October
1 each year.
BENEFITS
Annual conferences in February, which includes the
annual business meeting, special speakers on topics relating to
the trade, approved for C.E.U.'s, entertainment. Monthly newsletter
containing legislative reports, notices of state news and changes
in state law, updates and revisions of state code.
Informative and educational programs held throughout
the state. Members are represented at the state level by appointed
lobbyists in matters of legislation relating to the trade. Membership
in the National Onsite Water Recycling Association (N.O.W.R.A.),
as a voting member.
Annual Scholarships are awarded to students who are
planning to or who are currently pursuing higher education. Students
must be in the immediate family of Association members of their
employees. One $2,000.00 Robert Lindner Memorial Scholarship and
at least two $1,500.00 scholarships are awarded annually.
