Thursday, May 13, 2021
3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

This webinar will be an overview of OSHA Updates and focus in on Trenching hazards. OSHA has made some policy and standard changes in the past few years such as COVID-19 Exposure Plan expectations and modified inspections. OSHA made TRENCHING an Agency Priority Goal several years ago and the key elements of a safe trench will be discussed.  Other hazards, such as silica, confined space and utilities, will be reviewed.

  • Become familiar with OSHA’s current policies and areas of emphasis.
  • Summarize the key elements of OSHA’s trenching standard.
  • Identify other safety and health hazards at the jobsite.

Continuing Education Credits (1.0 hours per session) will be available.
