About UsThe Wisconsin Onsite Water Recycling Association is a statewide organization of septic system installers, soil testers, designers, manufacturers and related governmental and educational personnel. The Association was formed in 1974 by a group of installers interested in improving the trade and having a voice in legislation affecting their business. In February 2008, the name was changed from Wisconsin Onsite Wastewater Recycling Association to its current form - the Wisconsin Onsite Water Recycling Association (WOWRA) - to reflect our work not only with septic systems but also stormwater management.
